Board Certified Otolaryngologist - Head & Neck Surgeon

Hello, I’m Dr. Jimmy White, a distinguished Board Certified Otolaryngologist and Head & Neck Surgeon with a rich background that shapes my expertise. Hailing from Lafayette, Louisiana, my academic journey began at the University of Louisiana, culminating in Summa Cum Laude honors. Subsequently, at LSU School of Medicine, I served as class president, earned induction into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and received scholarships for academic achievements and commitment to moral and ethical standards.

My pursuit of excellence led me to The Mayo Clinic, where I became one of four residents worldwide accepted into the prestigious Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Under the guidance of nationally and internationally renowned otolaryngologists, I not only honed my surgical skills but also authored and published scientific journal articles, earning accolades such as the Chief Resident Teacher of the Year Award.

Upon board certification, I returned to Lafayette, making history with  surgeries like the region’s first cochlear implantation and transoral robotic surgery for oropharynx cancers. Voted Best Doctor in the community, I also contribute to education as an adjunct faculty for LSU ENT Department.

Recognizing a need for enhanced ENT education in primary care, I’ve crafted a course born from my passion for teaching and the belief that healthcare providers deserve comprehensive resources in ENT care. Join me in this transformative course where I share not just knowledge but invaluable clinical skills, ensuring you emerge well-equipped to excel in ENT care within the primary care setting.

Trust Me, I've Been There …  As A Medical Student and an ENT Resident,  I Know How It Feels To Not Feel FULLY COMPETENT Taking Care of Seemingly COMPLEX Ear, Nose and Throat Related Issues
